Project Overview
MedConnect needed a telemedicine application that could handle the regulatory complexity of healthcare while still feeling as simple as a consumer app. Patients needed to book specialists, join secure video consultations, and manage prescriptions — all from their phone.
HIPAA compliance, encrypted communication, and a seamless on-call workflow for doctors were non-negotiable. The app also needed to work flawlessly on low-bandwidth connections, since a significant portion of their patient base was in rural areas.

Our Solution
We designed a React Native app with a custom WebRTC video layer optimised for low-bandwidth environments, backed by AWS infrastructure for HIPAA-compliant data storage. Firebase handled real-time scheduling and push notifications.

Digital Prescription Workflow
